    Have you been able to figure out how to push a virtual button with a virtual forefinger  ? I can't get past the first steps thingy because of the button push. Can grab, move levers and such but can't push virtual buttons.

    I was enjoying my rift s well for4-5 months but since last month (Sep2020) i started facing this problem, i think the oculus firmware was automatically updated to 2.2.0, windows updated to 2004 and Nvidia Driver was updated but subject reported problem had started somewhere in between these events. but this is not the first time these things gets an update, it happens few times before.

    My Rift S display Cable is Perfect and has no issues what ever because i have already test it by Wiggling it around and the disconnection didnt occur but it occurs every now and then automatically, i have also disabled all of the power saving options for USB devices one by one individually. it occurs no matter what application i am playing light or heavy. and there is no specific time as well for this to occur.

    it happens like suddenly image stops, then screen goes black orange light appears all of my USB devices (Keyboard, mouse, wifi adaptor) restarted automatically and then i have to re-plug my rift s so that it may start working again, (All repeated every now and then with no specific time stamp but with in some 10-15-30 minutes.

    i am exhausted now  i missing my old VR times with no issues on this same PC.

    I have tried:
    1.reinstalling oculus app from scratch
    2.reinstalling after using DDU, my nvidia drivers both old and new
    3.reinstalling c++ all of them
    4.my windows 10 is up to date
    5. reinstalling steam VR, also used beta but no luck
    6.also disabled all power saving options specially on USBs and ethernet / wifi 
    7.used my rift s with disabled WIfi as well but no luck same issue with no consistent time stamp but between 5-30 minutes i guess.

    By the way my PSU is 750Watts gold Cooler Master modular cables. so this is also not a problem.

    Have you found a solution, at this point i have done ever thing and it ddint worked out.
    I have also deliberately wiggle the Rift s cable harshly while in games (both oculus & steamVR) but it only do this black screen thing on its own wiggling doesnt loose the connection, so there isnt any physical connection issue i guess, its something with software i God knows what, i have reinstalled everything clean and uncleaned, except my windows
