DK2: Stuttering in every single demo

Regardless of the framerate, every demo EXCEPT the config demo scene and Oculus World has major stuttering as they were running at a DK1 with 30 fps (direct mode). Reported framerate is 75 fps, so everything should be fine.

Tested with
- Milennium Falcon (https://share.oculus.com/app/millennium-falcon-experience)
- Chilling Space (http://www.riftaway.com/dl/ChillingSpaceDK2.zip)
- Kitchen architecture (viewtopic.php?f=42&t=11272)
- First Law (http://rjevans.net/firstlaw).

I tried Couch Knights (UE4) in Extended Mode, too (killed wscript.exe and the OVR service, rotated screen to landscape). Same result. Framerate should be stable, GPU load ist between 70 and 73 %, CPU about 40%.

V-Sync is activated in all cases.

Make sure Vertical sync is enabled. You can set it in the Nvidia control panel as default.

Hi

I'm having the same problem.

Desk demo from configuration utility works smoothly.
World Demo from the SDK also works smoothly.

But even the ovr_unity_0.4.1_demo_win is stuttering.
I also have 75 fps constant.

Tried Vsync forced On, Off, Adaptaive, nothing works.

Cheers.

Some people have had success using the included power supply (don't ask me why...Team Oculus is apparently still trying to figure out why this is!)

Try:
Plugging in or unplugging your power supply.

Might not work, but it can't hurt....

Forcing it back to 60Hz did the trick for me
