    the url's interface has a database of everyone that's purchased it.
    i believe you are deluded but like yours, that is just an opinion.

    I think it might not get updated.
    but you can use it with cv1. you do Not need to switch to 0.8, just use the wrapper.

    MaxVR is not up to it. Videos of all types and all resolutions simply hang or freeze a few seconds into playback, MaxVR is the ONLY player that has this issue - all other VR players - LVR, Oculus video, DeoVR, Big Screen - are absolutely stable and present no problems whatsoever. Same issue on both 1.2.9 and 1.3.0, whether it's the latest runtime or 0.8. Ther app itself doesn't freeze, but videos do. Some vids don't even start.

    The latest Nvidia is installed, and needless to say I've  tried K-Lite, Shark, Advanced, CoreAVC... you name it, I've tried it. And the fact that video playback on desktop and in VR works as it should on every (free) player imaginable, except in (paid) MaxVR, tells me MaxVR IS NOT UP TO IT.

    I've just come back to use MaxVR for the first time in a while, I've noticed that I'm getting a crash on startup. I can't seem to get it to run at all. (perhaps it has an incompatability with the latest Oculus Patch?)

    When I run it it says "MAXVR Crash - Minidump" and "A minidump has been created in the MaxVR Directory".

    If I go into the HMD I can actually see everything fine, but I can't click on the window to focus because of the error message and cant gain cursor control inside VR. Clicking OK on the error message just closes the program.

    Of Course, I have version 1.3.0. This used to work fine 2-3 Oculus patches ago (maybe 1.12 last I ran it?).

    Anyone else getting this?

    Edit:

    Found this in the readme file. Worked perfectly. Not sure why it "suddenly became a problem though"

    If you Crash on startup, it's possible that OpenCL 1.2 is not compatible or your PC.
    MaxVR does compensate for this on some systems, however it's dependent on official driver support.
    Please Open MaxVR.ini and change, if you only have problems starting MaxVR:
    OPENCL_ENABLED = 1
    to
    OPENCL_ENABLED = 0

    I'm starting to think it's becoming Vaporware ...

    Pity because it was one of the most CPU efficient Video players.

    Wow, it's been some time. Good to see you back, Carandiru (and to hear of the good health).

    I did fire up the latest in my CV1, and I suppose the first thing I would request (if not already in there) is the option to reset view. Put simply, I face away from my desk when playing VR in roomscale but would rather be facing at the desk when watching something.

    Hey Venturai, "R" or "F5" should reset / recenter the view.
    Cheers,
    Jason

    I don't know if it's maybe just something I'm doing, but that's not working for me at all. I even tried going into the options and rebinding the F15 reset view key to F12, but still nothing.
