Red Dots seem to replacing black textures

Sorry if someone has already posted or if this topic has already came up.

I've had my DK2 for a month or so now and so far it has seemed to run awesome ( except with this one issue ). Recently I bought a new computer to replace my ageing laptop. When I set up the DK2 on this new computer I started to notice that there was LOTS of little red dots that seemed to be lining the outside of my FOV. Once I was able to get further into some of the demo programs ( Titans Of Space/ War Thunder ) I started to notice that these red dots were showing up where was the game was using really dark colours or black. I've checked my video cards and the status of the computer and everything is running cool and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, So I am kind of at a loss for what to do. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone know any fixes?

Thanks
- Pat

Can you twist the lens out and take a photo of the dots?

Here are some pictures for you. Just this time when I was taking some pictures for you I was getting this issue while viewing the desktop.

Later today, I am going to try it out with some different hookups, I will also try removing some of the M/F connection adapter that I have for the HDMI cable. I don't think it's an issue with with the rift.

This is what I have in my computer.

The last time I heard about red dots, it was magically fixed by changing from DVI -> HDMI, or vice versa. If you're able to try plugging your DK2 into a different type of GPU port, it might be worth a shot?
