Hello every one,

I am trying to program with oculus. I am trying to initialize the oculus and it was succesful. But I am not able to create the ovr handler. ovr_create() fails for some reason.

The Rift is not turning on though.

error = ovr_Initialize(nullptr);
cout << "OVR_Initialize successful\n";// This is printed on the console
if (!OVR_SUCCESS(error)) {
return false;
}

ovrGraphicsLuid luid;
error = ovr_Create(&hmd, &luid);
if (!OVR_SUCCESS(error)) {
return false;//it quits with exit code 1?
}

Appreciate any help!

    I would closely look at the Oculus Room Tiny sample project and mirror the API calls exactly.

    Off the top of my head, I don't see you declaring "HMD" anywhere.
    ovrHmd HMD;
