I want to thank you Oculus for finally talking to us.
My biggest issue in recent days were not the delays but lack of communication. I was observing your progress with that awesome technology since KIckstarter. You see, I recognise that this is first generation of VR which means there will be problems with it. It is expensive too. I have decided to pre-order CV1 and finally take that VR step with you, because I become to believe that You are enthusiastic, committed, professional and Rift is a good product.
Last week you put all of that in doubt. If you can't even talk to us what will happen if some of the Rifts will be faulty or they will break too easily? will you stand up to it and make things right?
With one email you have proved three major things:
You are prepared to talk to us.
You are able to commit by setting a time frame for next update.
You are willing to spend some money to make thinks right.
All that fills me with confidence that Oculus rift is a right choice. Thank you.
