Unity 5.3.4 performance issue with Oculus Home?

Sometimes even if the VR is disabled, there is big performance degradation of 30-40fps, it seems that it's caused by Oculus Home or runtime as it doesn't happen when the VR is not launched at first.

Have you experienced it? Is this problem affecting the VR as well? With 5.3 the performances are quite bad. The game runs at 94-99fps on a 970 at maximum settings but it does 62-66 fps in VR even if we have much lower graphics settings settings.
