Does anyone have a phone number for Oculus support? I am at the end of my tether now waiting for emails that seem to never come. I just want to speak to someone!

Eight working days for me, if you count Saturday as a working day, which as I've received responses from Oculus Support on a Saturday it evidently is.
Why can't they at least give us an undertaking to deal with problems in a reasonable time frame, and stick to it? As it is, there's no sort of service standard. It seems to be an utter disaster over there, and has been for some time.
Sure, technical problems take time to analyse. But if adequate information is being collected by the software (and if, by default, it isn't, they can always email out more detailed collection tools to customers with issues) then surely they can't need an indefinite amount of time?

I phoned Oakley (the sunglass company) because I lost a nose sleeve on a pair of 5 year old sunglasses, replacements turned up in the post (from the USA) in 4 days. That is customer support.
Really sorry for the delay. Oculus Support is answering tickets, but there is a large volume of incoming inquiries and there is a long queue of people waiting. I understand this is not ideal, but you will get a response if you are patient. Thanks.
Unfortunately, long response times are not abnormal. Many tickets are, in fact, resolved within a reasonable timeframe, lets say between 1 - 2 days. However, some issues require more investigation (primarily in the case of replacement units) and these can take a longer amount of time to resolve. I'll ask the Support team to take a look at your ticket. Thanks.
That would be great. I have not even been asked for any logs or anything although I sent them anyway. I feel that my case has not even begun to be resolved!

I have messaged Oculus staff in here, got no reply. I had to contacted paypal even they could not get Oculus to respond. The result was a refund by Paypal for a rift i ordered back in Jan. Still i have got no response. Speak to Barclays, dont waste your time and energy. I do understand that there hands might be tied full but no response with any substance for people that pre-order especially is disagraceful

Dude, did you try going into program files and program files x86 and deleting all the oculus folders? You can uninstall oculus but you tend to get errors till you clean up the original files then restart PC and try to reinstall.
Sounds like I should just give up now and try to get my money back. I hate company's like this that sell expensive equipment but fail in the tech support department.

Zen time…..are you SURE you have the requirements met by running the compatibility checker or are you one of those that assumes there feeble Intel 4000 can run it just because it runs your current games? LOL I have seen a lot of ppl buying VR stuff and they don't know their crap will not run it cause they didnt look to see in the 1st place then get on forums bitching like your doing only to find out they was a dumbass for not looking into it….
