I have a CyberpowerPC and an AMD processor that is not up to the requirements the oculus proposes. I recently bought the recommended Intel processor and it wasn't compatible with my PC (the AMD one has protruding pins while the Intel one simply has contacts, hence the problem). Is there and what is a processor that I can buy that can handle the rift and is compatible with my PC?

Don't buy a prebuilt. Do some learning. You can build a better, cheaper system your self.

I want to clarify: I'm not dumb, I understand that the socket requires pins. The intel has a different socket that has contacts and a mechanism to secure it while amd has pins and the socket is basically a breadboard. I simply was asking what amd processors are oculus compatible.
