I'm also experiencing this issue. Tried flushing my net session, changing DNS, modifying hosts file, nothing works. Cannot install Oculus home with my DK2. If anyone has any suggestions (or knows of a way to manually install home) please share them!

Not sure if it worked as no one responded, but pablito advised something here.

It also occurs if you dont have enough space on your instalation drive. Generally allocating to the \Program Files directory, you may have to alter the path or free up some space. Sounds ludicus but the instalation looks for free space prior to making the server call for the initial download. if it judges you dont have enough, it gives the error.
