For comparision: PS Move sticks last for ~10 hours and the HTC Vive wands last for ~8 hours

cant argue with that..... are the batteries replaceable (just in case?)
Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR :)

yeah they are just normal AAA batteries(or AA, not 100%) so you can just buy some rechargeable ones. Not sure what batteries will ship with Touch, probably just a one-use kind.

    For more comparison:

My iPhone said the battery would last 14H under heavy use.. the reality is what? 10 minutes ?

My Car says it can do 46MPG... the reality was maybe 30MPG

Research said we are supposed to get at least 8H sleep per night... the reality is maybe 5H

We are supposed to eat fruit to get our '5 a day'... reality is yuk... who likes fruit... its not chocolate !

Oculus says Touch will last 20H... reality is... a pig just flew over hell while it was freezing over :/

@Warbloke haha true only time will tell but another factor is if you buy cheap batteries they won't last as long. As long as it lasts me 8+ hours then I don't really mind since I can charge it after each use.

    p.s. I love fruit.  :#

Why don't they just put decent lithium batteries in them, and let us charge them up?
I don't see a problem with that unless Samsung is involved and they explode, as I don't fancy gaming using little stumps where my hands used to be.

I think it might be so you can swap them out on the fly without having to stop gaming.  Unless you don't mind having power cords attached to your hands while trying to move around in a room.  Yes, you could just charge them every time you stop using them, but you know some people won't, so I'd rather be able to swap in a fresh set of batteries and get another X amount of hours instead of stopping to plug them in when they die.
