very interesting! I wonder how it effects the quality of the lens though, it's like if you buy a very cheap screen protector for your phone you can some colour banding etc.

True but they did mention it does not affect the lens clarity, so that is good news.

Interesting... I signed up for updates, thanks for sharing it here. 

I noticed that they have a Black Swan sensor holder too. Could be useful since many of us are getting second or third sensor.

It's the replacement facial interface that I'm more interested in. I'd like one with foam padding that's just a bit more comfortable than what we have currently.

This looks very good. I sent the manufacturers of Savvies the details of CV1 lenses in the hope they could produce convex protectors, (their DK2 ones were perfect), but they could only send me a flat trial pair which were obviously no good.

An extra facial interface would also be useful for experimenting with different foam.
