This is fantastic! It makes the game just like Lucky's Tale and it improves on the 2D version immensely, pretty much completely solving any camera problems the 2D version has. Note: This is not just VorpX emulation, this actually injects your HMD into the game directly and gives you free camera rotation based on the HMD so you can look around with your head to find those pagies/quills etc.

The only downside is it requires SteamVR to work, but it appears to run pretty well so far. I'm not even getting any of the normal judder I get with SteamVR games.

Edit: The guy put up a video of it working:

This is great that this can be done. I love 3rd person games in 3D. Mass Effect and Witcher 2 were both incredible. Heres some Mass Effect in 3D if anyone wants to see what it looks like. For me it was an incredible experience ill never forget. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIj4iKntwpE

Had a go with this game in VR. It's actually very impressive how well it looks in VR - very similar to Lucky's Tale. However its not perfect. For my machine (i5 3570k, 1070gtx), I had some slow downs, even at the lowest settings; more to do with the game slowing down, not the HMD moving around. Also, the camera gets a little confused in awkward locations, so you suddenly zoom in. But if I were to rate the experience, probably an 8/10, easily worth playing through the whole game, especially if your PC is top notch to get perfect performance (which I have heard from other users).

Yea I'm getting the slowdowns too on an i7 4790 /w GTX980 .. they calm down a bit depending on the environment. It's pretty much perfect when you're in the more claustrophobic areas such as tunnels/dungeons etc. But yea in those moments of sweeping landscapes I do get some slowdown. I blame SteamVR for it really .. that thing doesnt let anything work 100% for me 😧

Still, some people dont have too much trouble with SteamVR, I'm keen to hear their thoughts on the matter, or if its actually just the mod causing it.
