    I hate how they are dealing with this.

    correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think Amazon has pushed anyones orders back.  The issue is that suppliers that actually dont have any stock pushing back the ETA of new stock.  As far as I know Amazon.de had actual stock in which they have now sold.  Anyone that ordered from there today before they sold out should get there rifts on or by the date stated at purchase

    Main reason I didn't switch to amazon for my order is that I'm paranoid about this stuff. Especially since we are seeing that amazon is actually splitting the order in 2: sending the touch controllers now, but waiting with the actual Rift until a later date. For all we know they actually aren't receiving the rifts yet this week, but they got you comitted to ordering from them anyway since you already paid and received half your order.

    I'm one of the unlucky sobs that ordered in the later hours of the 14th. This means that every day I'm checking for when orders start moving again.

    I have received an email from Amazon stating that I will receive both items on Monday, there is nothing ambiguous about it

    Amazon cant just say they have the bundle in stock but actually dont have the bundle in stock.

    Amazon is a trusted seller and when they get the money from your credit card, they are ready to ship the items. They charged me for both items, one is already shipped and the other I believe will be shipped tomorrow so I'm happy to have cancelled my order with Oculus.

    I contacted GAME regarding their date change from the 30th, they're reasonably sure that's set in stone now and Oculus are messing them around as much as they are us.

    Hi, I Ordered 20th, order status is still "Order". Finland. I tried to get it for this weekend, as my vacation starts today. Because it didn't arrive today there's no rush anymore so it's better to save few euros and wait it from Oculus. So please cancel more of your orders from Oculus so i can get mine sooner  :p

    I guess there must be something wrong with your CC. So far I got charged from amazon, and items are due to dispatch today, I didn't receive that email. Maybe contact their support?

    By the way, even though I chose to group items together before shipment on amazon, I still got two tracking numbers. Strangely enough, it's the rift which is due to ship today, and touch on the preparing for dispatch - wasn't it usually the other way around for everyone here ordering yesterday from amazon.de?

    I've purchased the pack in amazon.de on 20th (when there was stock available) and supposed to be shipped on 21th, arriving 22th to 27th.

    Those dates were pushed twice. Touch finally arrived yesterday and got tracking numbers for the oculus yesterday, arriving on wednesday 2nd.

    Not that bad, and much better than oculus store, but they definetively push back orders and dont have all the stock they claim or at least they accept more orders

    I get the feeling Oculus are doing dropshipping to their third party retailers, and judging by what has been said by third parties and this ridiculous fuck-up that is this sale, they're not very reliable. It's possible that's why Amazon said they were in stock and then it took ages to actually get your hands on them after shipment - But it doesn't excuse them for saying In-stock (which is assumed to mean in-hand).

    Time to simply be the patient nice guy has past. People who did stuck with Oculus and have been waiting for more than 10 days without any news should start sending tickets to Oculus imho. No to ask when it comes but to file a complaint or to ask for something extra for the waiting.

    A lot of waiting and no news, this is all very unprofessional. People are being punished for buying at Oculus.

    I've already done that, I cancelled my order and bought it through a third party - that is their punishment, they get less money for the sale. I'm buying the Rift because it's cheaper than the Vive, that's the only reason, I didn't care who it comes from, but at least their third parties are communicating. Oculas can take a run and jump for all I care at this point.

    Do you think quality control might be slacking with all these orders they are rushing out? Surely they are pushing production of new units pretty fast!

    Pretty poorly handled by Oculus tbh, glad I went with amazon in case of issues as I can deal with their customer service then.

    I dont know about quality but you'll have warranty of course.I have made order on 17.07 and still no progres since then.Im from Poland.

    I ordered my bundle on the 23rd. Since it's still on "order", I went to my local reseller (Saturn) and they told me they've got a delivery time of roughly 16 weeks (as of 27.07.17).

    You're not going to be charged just yet, it failed a fraud check. Exactly as the message says, they want a hardcopy of a recent credit card statement to be faxed or snail-mailed to them.

    But how do you know? Everyone here is just stabbing in the dark trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Im kind of amazed that nobody from oculus reads this (THIS IS THEIR OWN FORUM...HELLLOOOOO OCULUS???) and made a sticky thread about it.
