MPO file converter

I just found an app called "MPO master" that converts .mpo directly to side by side. Or anaglyph if you like. You can swap sides for cross-eye viewing.
Previous apps I've had only converted the .mpo to seperate right and left images, which I had to manually combine into a single jpg for viewing with Whirligig.
Cost me less than $3us in Microsoft store.
I have a Fugi W3, but it's discontinued and I hope the onslaught of WMR devices will lead to the production of new stereo cameras.  Being able to actually view the pictures in stereo in the Rift or other hmd makes it more practical.

Nice. I actually wrote an app years ago that can convert MPO files to JPS, which should open in Whirligig. See here for download (also released the source code in that thread too).

All this time. Do you have anything for mpo videos, or know how to make a more accessable file type?
And why do the standard video players ignore the mpo format? Seems like it would be the easiest one to play.

Not sure, I haven't looked at it in a long while.

I found "Stereoscopic Player" that opens mpo-style videos and has an Oculus Rift outout, but it seems to have a lot of barrel distortion, like for the older versions. I'm checking to see if I can get it to output to simple side by side, hopefully export to a sbs file.
They also have a stereoscopic multiplexer to get two web cams to make a single vid.  This opens a lot of possibilities for me, possibly FPV stuff.   And hmd pass-through with two usb cams on the unit. With Dash.
