Bonus Feature
  • Preserving mesh scale and transform on import is now supported: There is a “Preserve Transform” toggle inside the Reference Mesh menu above “Import Mesh”

    • When not toggled, the references will be placed at a reasonable scale in front of the user

    • When toggled, the meshes come in relative to the sculpt origin at an unaltered scale and position

    • Meshes round-tripped from Medium will import the same, with regards to sculpt origin

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a video encoder crash when spawning tutorial and tool tip videos for some users.

  • Fixed a bad hitch when opening the stamps menu.

  • Polished the Share to Facebook dialog and added flags to remind you to take off your headset when needed.

  • Added a preview mesh to the Share to Facebook dialog for more accurate depiction of what you’ll be posting to your feed.

  • Added ambient occlusion to meshes shared to Facebook.

  • Polished the tutorial library on the Home Screen.

  • Fixed a bug where making a VR recording while watching a 2D video, then opening Home, stopped the VR recording.

  • Fixed a text bug that displayed the wrong message when crashing.

  • Fixed a tooltip with mixed messaging around duplicating layers.

  • Finished work on a bug where 2D videos and their audio tracks would get out of sync.

  • Fixed a bug that refreshes checking for network connections while using Medium.

  • Fixed a bug on the sharing site where the asset icons were mis-aligned.

  • Changed the empty layer visual to a sphere without an text, and to add visibility even in non-layer modes.

  • Fixed a bug where the cut tool didn’t have a size slider in the tool settings.

  • Fixed a bug that doubled texture resolution when exporting a sculpt.

  • Fixed the subtle artifacts that occurred when posting a sculpt to Facebook with an empty layer.

  • Fixed small triangular irregularities in exported texture maps.

    Yay - stamps panel no longer causes me to lose my lunch!

    Still missing my pink lazor in constrain to surface mode, tho  :'(

    What about mixed reality support? Is this planned to be implemented in anytime soon?
