Sounds is dropping out and doesnt come back without restart

Hi everyone.  I am having an issue  where after a random amount of time in game, I am losing sound in both ears.  Sometimes an hour, sometimes 5 min.  It seem much more likely in Onward but I have had it happen in other games, just not as bad.  I also lose the sound in the oculus home and have to restart everything.

FWIW I am running 4 sensors, 2 on 3.0  and  2 on 2.0.

I have disabled the power saving setting in the USB device manager and set the rift headset as the default sound device.  Didnt help.

Any ideas?

Do you have Asus AI Suite or Asus Sonic Suite installed? If so, you should uninstall them. I think M-Audio can also cause conflicts.

No, but I have Realtek high definition audio on my computer... If I uninstall it I am not sure what will drive my sound.

Yeah, you can try uninstalling it. It could help (I think Microsoft default drivers can still produce sound).
