Alienware M17xR4 Can it Run Rift?

I was very excited to start my VR adventures. Install wizard says this computer doesn't met the specs. Surprised me as it does 3D and is a beefy machine. I don't really understand much about hardware. Looking for a little help/guidance for this old geek.

This is the output of the machine's stats from dxdiag

Sadly that falls far short of the minimum specs. The offending part is the Nvidia GTX 675M. The minimum spec is a GTX 1050 TI, with recommended being a GTX 1060 6GB or better. Performance comparison between the 3:[]=1460&cmp[]=3595&cmp[]=3548

Your laptop was made before VR laptops was even a viable thing only within the last few years; they had not figured out how to get full graphics card into a laptop and keep it cool. Regardless of the warning you need to be able to run games and apps at 90FPS if your laptop cant do that with most software than you have your answer.
