Lone Echo worked perfectly fine on a MSI 960 4GB Twinfrozer?

Okay this card I really doubted the VR experience to have with this. My VR experience before the rift was my Gear VR with the riftcat sideload app which often lagged more than 60FPS when I used it to play subnautica. Luckily I never got sick. But most VR games often run on stable 90fps in my oculus rift. The rest runs on what seems to be comfortable 45fps.

Lone echo. One of the VR games I have with the highest gfx demands ran perfectly fine on my GTX 960 through the whole game. In a very rare occasions I have these tiny stutters. But they were extremely rare and usually when loading big places.

How does this game perform so well on my 960? It was completely smooth and it felt like 90fps most of the time. It never dropped to levels were it got uncomfortable at all.

This game says you should at least have a 980. I'm impressed what a 960 can do for VR.
