Hello there! So I need some help about the configuration of Rift. A friend show me how it work on his own pc but when we try to use it on mine we didn't achieved to use it.
The only problem is that the Oculus app is saying that there's nothing in the HDMI port but my device manager successfully detect it as a new screen.

Ho and btw:
1) processor: Intel core I7-7700HQ 2.8 GHz
2) graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 630 (for mostly everything) and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 (The HDMI port is on this on)
3) memory amount (RAM): 8 Go
4) operating system: W 10
5) desktop/laptop model: MSI 7RDX Leopard

Laptops can be problematic for VR. You may want to try to see if there is another port on your laptop, such as DisplayPort, and connect Rift with a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter.
