why was oculus NCP support removed from nvidia driver

hello folks

anyone know why support has been patched out of the drivers as per oculus request? in the last 6 months ASW and now this are just killing the rift for me, but before i blow me stack im hoping an explanation can be found.........

This is why I always hold onto original CD drivers that come with video cards.
