So here we are in week 2 of the fitness series and I won't lie... the first few days of week one were a bit rough. We stuck with it though and by the end of the week we were both feeling good about our progress. I can definitely say that playing BoxVR every day for 30 minutes gave a great workout and we were both surprised with the results when we stepped onto the scale. We would also like to thank everyone for the positive comments and encouragement. Based upon this we have started to also make small changes to our diet and will continue to research this aspect and make more changes as the weeks go on.
For week 2 we have decided to try Racket: NX since it is something we can play together. So far I will say that Racket: NX is not as physically strenuous as Box VR was, but by the end of a few matches we were both sweating and our heart rates were up so hopefully we will continue to see positive results at the end of week 2. Overall the game is a lot of fun and we have both agreed that since it is not as demanding we will most likely be playing it for longer than 30 minutes per day... most likely we will increase it to 1 hour sessions. So that's it for this week but we will be back next week to share our results from week 2 and will start on a new game for week 3.
