Pin webcam to dash so you can see the real world...

My misses likes to sneak up on me when in vr, i was thinking it would be nice to let her know i cam see her as she does this, so i was contemplating using my webcam to keep an eye on my surroundings.
Can anyone suggest the best program to use to simply display on screen what my webcam is capturing?
Lowest respirces possible of course :)

You can use https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/store/p/windows-camera/9wzdncrfjbbg to get the camera feed, then pull that window out in Dash and pin it, that way you will always see the feed when ure in-game

To pull the window out, open desktop in dash, grab that window and hold and pull towards you, it should pop out (just the camera app) then position it how you'd like, (you can use the thumbstick on right hand to push it out further) and click the little pin icon under that window, it will make it permanent, so the window will stay there in your games.

Ah, them were the days - used to have so much fun doing this.

The Gear VR was a good one - i remember when the wife was wearing it and did a reverse scare on our son - he thought he was going to shit her up but she had the pass-through camera on and was pretending to be engrossed in something.  Crapped his pants when she jumped at him!

Here's Jack carping himself on an old favourite  :D :
