Oculus Rift CV1 IPD slider broke

Hello everyone,

So today I wanted to play some games and I noticed my vision was super weird, things are to close and are distorted at the edges.
I tried adjusting the IPD but it wasn't adjusting as it normally would so I went to the "Adjust lens spacing" setting.
Once there I noticed when adjusting the spacing with the slider, the distance wasn't updating in the software.
I also tried this in Steam VR and also wasn't updating. Wich makes me believe that for some reason the lens spacing sensor has stopped working.
Is there an easy fix for this or should I try to contact oculus to send my headset back for repair or something?
The headset is only 1.5 y/o and still have the papers of receiving it.

Thanks for helping out!
