Oculus Rift not detecting HDMI

Alright so I've read almost every thread related to this, but to no avail my Oculus still isn't functioning. I've trive uninstalling EVERYTHING and then reinstalling. I've rebooted my PC, Oculus App, and even checked the plugs on both end of my oculus. So what's happening: My 2 sensors are good, the controllers are paired, and the headset USB 3.0 has the green check but not my HDMI. But the funny thing is that I can SEE my monitor's screen through the oculus. Almost as if the oculus was acting as another monitor, and only that. All audio plays through the headset and the video is way out of focus. Please if anyone has any solutions i'd be open to try, just don't want to start spending MORE money as we all know how much this device costs. Thanks

Whoa, I never heard of the HMD acting as a monitor .. I would really recommend contacting Oculus Support directly here:
