Red pill me on VR + eye health

I have perfect vision.
I’ve read that VR isn’t bad for your eyes as long you keep contrast levels comfy, turn down brightness wherever possible and take frequent breaks.
Personally, about 30-45 minutes is my limit before I need to take it off, which is funny because people are always talking about watching movies/tv. Watching movies with constant breaks kinda takes you out of the movie though. Some content across the Oculus Store is quite blurry and some is quite clear. The blurry stuff sucks to watch on my eyes.
However, I can’t help but feel like my vision is a little more sensitive to light after wearing my Go on-and-off for almost two weeks.
Thoughts from anyone else?

I have light sensitive eyes, monitors turned down so that white are grey, black backgrounds etc. to stop eye issues (pain).
Rift or Go give me no problem, my Go is set to around 20% brightness or a bit under and if I am going to have a long internet session I may drop it to 10% dependent on sites.
