Have finally got off my arse and started playing Witchblood. I started it ages ago but stopped playing for some reason so I started a new game last week.

I've always loved Metroidvania games and am really enjoying it so far. I'm close to the end now I think, on my way to hell lol

I've missed picking up a few power ups here and there though I think but can't be arsed to go back through the first few areas with my new abilities to get stuff I've missed.

It definitely deserves its 92% Metascore and has inspired me to make a diorama RPG/Metroidvania game next if I ever finish Nakamura's Fall.

I've now bought some hands for 6 quid and a planet generator for around 20 quid whilst they were on sale on the Unreal Marketplace so I'm going to start messing around with those once I've finished texturing my modular room pieces. B)

I've been playing Dreadhalls again these last couple of days. Still shit scary lol :D

Anyone that likes scary games that DOESN'T have this game MUST buy it. Along with Alien Isolation VR Mod it's the joint scariest VR game out there.

Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted just got an average rating of 96 % based on 41 ratings - making it the second highest rated game on the Rifts with more than 40 ratings.  Let's see how it goes when more votes arrive, but of course I've added the game to the list. Trailer:

I can not believe that "pinball fx2 vr" is not mentioned on this thread. It is simply the best fun VR can offer and ratings on Steam are  very positive. Maybe the version on Oculus store has bad reviews or some other issues? Weird... my fav game - highly recommended.

Read the first post ;) This thread is about games with an average rating of at least 90 % (=4.5/5) and 40+ ratings. Pinball FX2 VR has an average rating of 86 % (4.3/5) based on 429 ratings, so it doesn't fit the inclusion criteria ;)

Vader Immortal has in less than 2 days received more than 600 ratings, it now has an average rating of 92 % based on 679 ratings. That's probably the most ratings any Rift game or app has received in such a short time. Also is Vader Immortal a game? According the Oculus it's not - so Vader Immortal is not placed in the game category:

    https://www.oculus.com/experiences/rift/section/1765071250375445

Instead Vader Immortal is placed in the Entertainment section:

    https://www.oculus.com/experiences/rift/section/1059856557438644

And I tend to agree - Vader Immortal is more like an interactive movie and while you can do things, it's limited. Like you can do things in First Contact, but it's still not really a game. Thus I've added Vader Immortal to the app list on page 1, not the game list.

    Get Vader Immortal here:

I just completely updated the lists on page 1 of this thread (first post). These games made the list for the first time - I'm really happy to see Merry Snowballs in the top - it's a truly awesome game - it took several years to make the list, so many may not know of this VR gem:

    Merry Snowballs

These other games also made the list:

    Final Assault

    Shooty Fruity

    Journey of the Gods

And these apps made the list:

    Dance Central

    Spice and Wolf

I guess there's so much to do this summer  :)

Battlewake, Creed, Electronauts and many other VR games/apps made by Survius are now 50% or more off on Steam (Electronauts like $6):

Personally I did buy Battlewake on Steam earlier, but refunded it, it was slightly demanding using the Index and graphics didn't impress me. I think it's more a game for teenagers and kids - so although it's cheap now I'll wait for a sale in the Oculus Store, this way my kids can get it on the CV1 where ASW2.0 may work some wonders.

Maybe quite a sensation: when including only games with at least 40 ratings and an average rating of at least 90 % there's a new number 1!  :o

With 48 ratings and an average rating of a massive 98 % (4.9/5) Until You Fall is the best you can get for the Rifts:

    Get it here:

    https://www.oculus.com/experiences/rift/3629229127102494/?locale=en_US

So this game - and not Asgard's Wrath, Stormland nor Boneworks - is Game of the Year 2019? (Click to enlarge the shots below)

Intel i7 7700K (4.5 GHz); MSI GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Gaming X (oc 2100 MHz gpu boost, 11 GHz mem speed); 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 MHz; MSI Z270I Gaming Pro Carbon AC (VR-Ready) mainboard; Samsung 960 Evo M.2 SSD + Toshiba P300 HD; Windows 10 OS; Valve Index and Oculus Rift CV1 - the latter nearly always using super sampling 2.0.

BTW, 98% for Art Plunge is no joke - it really is awesome. It is short, but it is less the $1 in the Store. Got solid 90 fps CV1 ss 2.0, and this gem of an app truly shines. It may be close to the perfect intro to VR, especially for persons who like art.

Battlewake just achieved a rating of 90 % based on 40 ratings:

Battlewake, Creed, Electronauts and many other VR games/apps made by Survius are now 50% or more off on Steam (Electronauts like $6):

Personally I did buy Battlewake on Steam earlier, but refunded it, it was slightly demanding using the Index and graphics didn't impress me. I think it's more a game for teenagers and kids - so although it's cheap now I'll wait for a sale in the Oculus Store, this way my kids can get it on the CV1 where ASW2.0 may work some wonders.
Note that if you buy the Steam version, then Battlewake actually does support native Oculus drivers.
