Error message: "Oculus System has stopped"

Just today, my Oculus Go refuses to start up. The controller calibration screen appears, but following the long press of the Home button, an error message appears:
"The Oculus System has stopped. Click here to restart app.", followed by repeating error messages "Oculus system keeps stopping. Click to stop app."

I have tried completely powering off and restarting.

The Oculus app settings show the Bluetooth and WiFi are connected, and the battery is fully charged.

I have submitted a ticket to Support.

Has anybody else seen this problem?

Should I try a Factory Reset?
