Do I need two graphics cards/hdmi for set up

I cant plug my TV or rift into motherboard bit I cant see anything on rift when I plug it into the card and when I plug my TV in  it says I have to use rift with graphics card

    Rift and all TVs/monitors must be connected to the primary dedicated video card. Multiple video cards (like SLI/Crossfire) and not generally supported. You also cannot use the motherboard integrated video.

    Ideally you would want to plug the Rift headset into the GPU with the HDMI cable.
    Plug any other monitors in via Display Port , or HDMI if you have two of them on the GPU.
