The Hospital- Allison's diary : The oculus go controller trackpad not working to move ahead.

Not sure if this is the right forum to ask. Please bear with me.

I have recently purchased this game and I was very excited to play. However, the controls which are showed on the game to use on the oculus go controller (double tab to turn on the lights, press the trackpad to move) are not working. I could switch on the lights using some different buttons (still did not get the grasp of it). But I cannot go ahead.Standing on the same stop near the hospital and not moving ahead. Anyone else facing this issue?

I did also..I think it ended up being something as simple as just pressing the track pad button? It walks the direction you face so you need to be standing and look all around to change direction if I remember right.

Took me a while to work out but one of the buttons did work for Go

I am having same trouble cannot move using pad. 
Torch turns on/off with button but unable to move!?!?
