Oculus Go does not connect with phone or pad

Hello, I've got an Oculus Go and want to set it up how shown in tuts etc.
But I can't make a connection between iPhone/iPad and Oculus.
It ends 20 times with "this wlan is not available".
Oculus app is loaded, devices have bluetooth activated, the app says "this phone is connected with this wlan"
If I type in my wlan key every time I get the "not available" message. It is a normal wlan, at home, all my devices are in there and this key is the default one, printed on my router. All my friends phones work with this key, if they type it in. I started the phone new and tried again. Same thing. Two hours of trying different ways. Nothing.
Is anyone out there with an idea?
Thanks in advance!

What bands does the router operate on? Something like 802.11a/b/g/n

Also, what is the encryption for the WLAN?

    • WPA2 + AES.
    • WPA + AES.
    • WPA + TKIP/AES (TKIP is there as a fallback method)
    • WPA + TKIP.
    • WEP.
    Any of the above?

Maybe if you give us the make of your router we can figure this out.

    Core i7-7700k @ 4.9 Ghz | 32 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance @ 3000Mhz | 2x 1TB Samsung Evo | 2x 4GB WD Black
ASUS MAXIMUS IX HERO | MSI AERO GTX 1080 OC @ 2000Mhz | Corsair Carbide Series 400C White (RGB FTW!)

Be kind to one another :)
