What happened to Stormland and Defector?

So both games were meant to launch in 2018. Does anyone know what the delays are? COuld it be that both games are being adapted for the Quest and will launch alongside? Or have they been pushed back to support the Rift S release?

Stormland was originally described with a launch date in 2019 - I don't think I ever heard about a release date in 2018:

"Stormland is due out in 2019, and Oculus is billing it as the largest and deepest game it’s funded for the Rift platform to date."
    https://www.theverge.com/2018/6/7/17434956/oculus-rift-stormland-announced-insomniac-games-vr (article fron June 2018).

Defector has also been described as launching in 2019:

"Defector is slated to release exclusively for Oculus Rift in 2019."
    https://uploadvr.com/defector-hands-on-becoming-jason-bourne-in-vr-is-a-blast/ (article from September 2018)

I don't think anything happened to Stormland and Defector ;)

"Originally, Twisted Pixel had stated at late 2018 release for Defector. That’s no longer the case with a 2019 now listed, continuing to add to what could be a very interesting year for Oculus Rift owners with the likes of Stormland also due next year."

Hmm I swear I saw 2018 for Stormland way back ... oh well .. Just cant wait for those titles.

If you happen to be going to PAX South coming up, I hear we're going to have both games available for hands-on demos, not to mention that sweet, sweet Oculus pin you can get.
Awesome, thanks - I did read the blog entry earlier today:

I'm from Texas and I just may be attending this event! If I get to try these demo's, I'll be sure to post my impressions.

God some part of me hopes that Atmos and Kevin will also be there just to hear about the incident when other media outlets report the threeway confrontation......
That or yall will just get drunk and try to solve all of the worlds issues before you pass out.

Sure thing. I have no problem sharing a pin. Just let me poke myself a few times with it before you touch it.

Rumour has it that both games have been postponed because they've heard that I've started work on my game again. And they don't want the competition. B):D

I could be completely wrong when I finally get to play Defector but it doesn't actually look good to me, I don't know why, I just watch trialer and don't get excited but I will still no doubt end up buying it and trying it and will be happy to be wrong.

As for Stormland I think that looks awesome and I can imagine myself playing it and loving that experience!

Ditto - not that Defector looks bad in any way, it just doesn't look utterly super-duper-mega-cool like Stormland  B)

I might consider turning off Grandma's respirator, if that was required to play Stormland - I don't think I could do that for Defector  o:)
