It's just another Labo kit, I don't get the big deal, there's an uproar in other forums of angry folks or folks trying to ridicule some kids stuff as if they were made for people like them but failed. Labo is pretty cool for what it is, I've seen a fair share of kids and families enjoy them and I'm sure some of the software will actually be fun to play (the last kit's vehicle based sandboxy game made to utilize the DYI wheel, flight stick and whatever the 3rd thing was called for the submarine, was pretty damn neat). It's not some PSVR or Rift/Vive competitor clearly, just another self contained toy for kids to have some unique DYI entertainment. The camera implementation for example should feel pretty natural as you hold cameras up anyway. I'd even want to play a Pokemon snap or something like that myself zooming in and out with actually turning the lens focus like on a real DSLR camera. Of course I doubt the game will be that involved, I'm just saying. I'm not their target market anyway. If you take a look at previous Labo kits which neatly explained to kids how they work, what the infrared camera tracks and how the game software interprets it etc., it's very creative and robust stuff. Like how would you get all those piano keys when there are only a few buttons in the joycons and you aren't even pushing those when it's slotted in? Same for making the wheel setup complete with engine key and what not.

I'm expecting a tonne of Vives to show up on Ebay soon as the owners raise funds for an upgrade to a Labo Elephant (as seen in pic above).
Big PC, all the headsets, now using Quest 3
