Try checking that the game's fully patched in the Windows Store.
BTW, patched the game today and saw that it was stuttering. Going from 8 to 56 segments or back did nothing, deactivating many other things did nothing (clouds, nice sky etc.). But finally I tried deactivating "mirror textures" and viola - game worked perfectly in 90 fps and I couldn't see any difference. Also deactivated texel antialiasing - didn't see any different, but I'm forcing super sampling 2.0.
So game works perfectly again - and it's one of the most amazing games - in VR (especially according to my 11 year-old son)
