Any Idea when they will take the software out of PTC? I'm thinking it would have to be before the 21. I do not think the S will work with this Version. What have you heard?
Ya, 1.37 has been PTC for a month now so it probably will go final soon. Probably just needs a bit more tweaking.
If you browse its desktop app you will find mention of the Rift-S so I think it’s probably already basically compatible.

Got another update earlier today. Not sure if it's final yet as I'm on the PTC option. All seems fine to me. Slightly less % cpu usage.

Went back to non-PTC via Oculus Repair today because I was having a few glitches. This ended up taking me back to 1.36 and my x-plane 11 sim would not exit properly. Opted back to the public release channel (PRC) and all is well again.
I find it hard to believe that other Oculus Rift users do not contribute to these Release threads. Some may be just waiting to post more hate-crap posts, lol!

I just downloaded the PTC It does run fine but I can not remove the help place card that tells me to hit the home button on the left control do something. There used to be under setting to turn off/on the help panels Is that gone now?

I work on beta software in my job. My leisure time is precious and very limited and so I dont have the time to spend bug hunting so i keep with the release software. If oculus want to pay me i will bugtest but if not then no thanks
i appreciate those who do however.
Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR

@DTH - In my case the setting you mentioned was set to not display help panels yet the placard did display unless I grabbed something in which case it would hide, only to return after I let go. I finally ended up just clicking through it's suggestions and it finally was done nagging and went away. In return, I got an object to place in my home. Part of the robot from first contact.
