Oculus Go does not charging with a charger less than 2 Ampere?

HeigeHeige Posts: 2
I try to charge with an old Chrager from Iphone, means less than 2 Ampere. I assume that this takes longer than an 2 Ampere Charger, but it doesn' charge my Oculus go and I charged the whole night. Just 3%???
Anyway I will buy the right charger, but I'd like to know if anybody had the same behavior.

Thanks for your answers

You need a charger with these specifications: https://support.oculus.com/536364990076727/

I am just using a standard USB adapter that came with a old tablet, works a treat.

Yeah, if you have an iPad charger lying around, that’s what I use and it works perfectly.

I don't have any problems charging with either my iPhone or Kindle usb chargers.  Both are 5v1a rated.  Both seem to charge up pretty quickly (1-2 hours depending on how discharged it was).  I try not to let it get below 30-35% before recharging.
Alienware 17r4 Laptop with i7-7700hq 2.8/3.6, 32 gb ram, gtx1060 w/6gb ram, 256gb ssd, 1tb hdd, Oculus Rift w/2x sensors.  Now using an Alienware Graphics Amplifier (AGA) with Zotac gtx1080ti Blower and Asus vg248qe 144hz external monitor.  All works great!
