My new oculus go has what looks like a yellowish green Rorschach test blob that has appeared in the top left of the screen.  Is there any way to fix?

That sounds like sun damage. The screen is very susceptible due to the magnifying effect of the lenses, even a minute of exposure to sunlight can burn the screen.

Thanks! That’s quite possible. Is there any way to repair that?

AFAIK unfortunately not (without changing the screen itself) and unfortunately sun damage is not covered under warranty,  but you should still contact Oculus support and see if there is any way they could help.

Maybe if you got some home insurance or similar, which covers such accidents...
