Rift S - Washed Out Colors, Output Dynamic Range Bug?

I'm getting washed out colors on my Rift S. It looks a lot like the HDMI dynamic range output bug that I had to fix with my vive. I doubt the panel contrast is this bad, but maybe it is. Anyone else seeing anything similar?

Rift S, Windows 10, GTX 1060, Latest Nvidia Drivers (480.36), Oculus Home (Regular and Beta)

Going from USB3.1 Gen2 to USB C Adapter did this in Elite but it also did that for Outside Ship colours, but not cockpit as it does here too, when it would crash soon after. Trying a REPAIR then reconnecting.
1.37 / Nvidia 430.86 (not 480 as is not out)

EDIT: This fixed the colour loss again. Still using USB C for the USB Cable ok.
EDIT2: It was fixed for 30secs and has gone colourless again. Will try going back to normal USB3.1

My loss of colour was in Elite and fixed by altering the FX QUALITY & VOLUMETRIC QUALITY settings from Lowest upwards until it fixed it. Seems to be for special fx from the RTX Cards perhaps which stresses my GTX1080 SC2
