Consoles already have the patch to download, 11 Gigs PS4 8.9Gigs Xbox - nothing even hinting at how big PC will be but I'd go along with around 11 gigs as the PS4 has VR too...

@RattyUK ; Is that just a patch, or a complete game download?

Those are published for the patch - someone commented that it was 4 times bigger than the original game download!  I'm only guessing with the PC patch though.

I'd guess that it is essentially a 'new' game going by the patch notes though :)

Quite intensive on the GPU set mine above enhanced and getting 45 fps that's with 90hz. So far really cool but going to need to tweak the options to get a decent frame rate. Need to turn off the AA though looks much better without. Really impressive so far aside from the performance but it's bearable. Hand motions seem well implemented. Scale is really good. Audio excellent. Went inside a cave and felt nice inside. Cool entering the ship as well. All feels great as expected. Not sure if I want to spend time fiddling with the options though. Maybe someone will post a guide and I'll follow that. It's fiddly having to exit the game each time you change important settings. There are enough of them though so should be able to get it running well.

How do you turn of teleport mode? Please tell me you can do this and it's not just a teleport game? I'll leave it right here if it's teleport only and wait for the to implement smooth locomotion.

@Shadowmask72 what GPU you got? I have this horrible feeling it is a 2080ti. Please tell me I am wrong?!

AHH I was on mobile mode. No sigs. Well I guess my 1080ti is in for a shock then and lord help those with entry level VR machines.  I wonder what the vanilla PS4 makes of it?

@Shadowmask72 - I think there's a performance problem with the Geforce 2080ti from what I'm reading in the comments. Also, how do I get to the setting in VR to get to the controller setting? I don't see it anywhere?

Can anyone tell me whether there is a left-handed mode (i.e. using your tool in your left hand and your menu on your right wrist)? I saw some of the options menus in a YouTube video, but I didn't see a setting for playing left-handed.

Just spent 50 minutes recording a video. Yeh this game is really cool and engaging so far. Explored the first planet, repaired tools, scanned some beasts, repaired the ship then flew across the planet surface (flight controls take some getting used to) and then jetted-off into space. Mined some asteroids, then hyper-warped to another signal on a different planet.  Really nice so far aside from the poor performance. Bearable but I can see some people not being happy. Yeh I don't think the game is using my GPU as well as it should.
