1st off, my setup is... unique. I have a total of 5 monitors connected and running on my PC. In order to connect them all (not to mention the Rift S) I require 2 video cards just for enough ports to plug in. Before getting the Rift I had 2 Radeon HD 5850 running but knew they did not meet VR requirements. I needed at least 1 new card.
So I bought a nice new Nvidia GTX 1660 to replace 1 of the old cards and connect the Rift to it. However, when I open Occulus app it says "New drivers are required for your graphics card" even though they are up to date. Under devices I see no DP connection. It's like it was looking to the old graphics card, not the new one. So I disabled the remaining 5850 is device manager and rebooted and finally Rift worked!
Problem is I have to disable/reboot that card every time I go from 5 monitors to Rift headset. Anyone know how to make this just look to the right card? Any help appreciated!
... PS - are the sensors for the Rift S front facing or 360? wasnt sure
