Why not try youtube VR for the Quest?

    https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/2002317119880945

    Lot's of content there
    Core i7-7700k @ 4.9 Ghz | 32 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance @ 3000Mhz | 2x 1TB Samsung Evo | 2x 4GB WD Black
ASUS MAXIMUS IX HERO | MSI AERO GTX 1080 OC @ 2000Mhz | Corsair Carbide Series 400C White (RGB FTW!)

Be kind to one another :)

There's also NextVR, but it's more for 3D experiences, and events, like sports and concerts. But for actual 3D movies...those would be owned by the movie studios, and wouldn't be streamed on an app on Oculus...for free. You buy the movie, then stream it or load it to your Quest. If you're talking VR360 or VR180 'movies'...except for a few short clips put out by a few directors, everything else is basically of the adult nature. And that's where Google comes in.

I've wondered that myself; I'd happily rebuy some of the 3D movies I own on Bluray if I could play them in VR. But there seems to be no way to do so.

On top of that, google spits out a ton of 'sharing' sites. I won't be posting those. I don't disagree with them, just don't want to get this site in trouble. :P

edit: that Cnet article has some good links...the very first option is '3D-BlueRayRental(dot)com'.

If you own the disk, you can legally back it up using blueray ripping apps. Extract to a file, then load or stream to the Quest. Google. You can also stream the actual disk from a pc or laptop to the Quest over your wifi...probably through VirualDesktop, as it's not an actual file that shows up through SkyboxVR.

Fandangonow is now available on Oculus Quest and and has the option to purchase a lot of movies in 3D from your Quest and you can watch them on your quest. However, I have a 3D TV and they wouldn't play in 3D on it through FandangoNow. They played, but only in SD. The 3D is apparently available only on the quest.

Is this site legit? It's asking for credit card info to create an account, so it makes me nervous.

No it’s not. Avoid at all costs! Believe me I fell victim to popcornlinks or whatever the hell it is and almost got fined. I’m lucky that they believed my story that it was truly a mistake or I could have been looking at some costly fines.
