Passthrough Quality?

The passthrough view in my new Rift S is slightly grainy. It's not just static, but also not a clear B/W picture. It's something like an old analog TV that's slightly out of tuning.

Is this how it is supposed to be?

I have tried reseating the connector on the HMD, but no difference.

The reason I as is that I feel that my HMD tracking is slightly unsmooth, and I thoght this might affect the tracking.

    It is not clear like a black & white television and does appear grainy.

    Yes that is the way it is currently. I have seen it stated by Oculus somewhere that is an area they plan to improve in some future updates.

    Yeah, it's fuzzy, wobbly, and easily overexposed.
