Oculus 4-Meter Headset Cable not available

Hello, 

I want to know how many people has a problem with the Oculus 4-Meter Headset Cable. I bought one for a replacement  of the old one which last for two years, but because of bad design and bad quality the cable worked only two months. Now I have a big problem, the cable is no longer available. Hope that Oculus is not just pulling the  cable out of the market because of the new rift S. In that case I'll rather change model of VR than keep buying Oculus. 

Hope Oculus take care of their customers.

Oculus is a Facebook company.
Facebook lives off marketing and current trends. If something is popular they jump right on it. When it fades, it's left behind. The only thing they maintain forever is their (your) data.

Many of us are upset that Oculus will no longer supply replacement parts for the CV1 (including the HMD cable)

what type of ends on the oculus cv1 cord

HDMI and USB on the PC end, "proprietary" connection on the headset end.
