Can't change my account email

I've been trying to change my Oculus account email for the past few days now, and for some reason the website won't let me. It sends me the confirmation email to my previous address and I can submit the confirmation code, but then it gives me the warning "Something went wrong! Please try again". I've tried changing it on multiple different browsers, and nothing. Tried clearing my cache, nothing.3ga3yfjyknqd.jpg

  • Full Name on account
  • Email Address on account
  • Current Alias/Username on the account
  • Serial number of the headset on the account
  • Copy of the receipt for the headset
  • The new email you would like to change it to

...one more thing: it's a.problem to provide you all information in a case like mine.
In just sold my old Rift via ebay because I bought a Quest headset. And the receipt is in German language. Is this a problem? 
It would be great if this problem is fixed soon instead of doing this work-around with sensible data via normal email.

Seems, that there is no workflow for this simple task. I got this answer:

If you would like I can manually change your account email
address. In order for me to do so I am going to need a little more information
from you. If you could please tell me:



·        
Full Name



·        
User Name



·        
Quest Headset Serial
Number (starting - 1PASH)



·        
Located on the left
arm of the headset you may need to gently pull the strap to the side in order
to see the whole number



·        
Last four digits of
method of payment ( Please do not send full card number or card information)



·        
The last purchase made
on your account



I also need you to verify your current Oculus account email and
the email you wish to have it changed to.



Please get back to me with the above information as soon as
possible, so that I may resolve this issue for you.

1. @Oculus: Please fix the problem on your side instead of generate work in my free time. It should not be so complex to fix this simple problem.
2. Collection customer data is not the way to go. Perhaps in the United States everyone shares his personal data, but here in Europe, we try to avoid this (for good reasons). I think this work-around is not confirm with the DSGVO an against the German law.

PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM!

1. Please do not generate work for me in my spare time. This is not acceptible.
2. The collection of personal data is not a viable option! Perhaps in the United States everyone shares his personal data, but here in Europe we try (for good reasons) to avoid this. I will not share all these requested data... sorry. I think this work-around is against the German law and you don't have no legitimation from me to collect these data (e.g. DSGVO).

Please just fix the problem that it's not possible to change the email. It should not be a very complex problem!
