Will games work for both Quest and Rift S?

Rad_FreshRad_Fresh Posts: 1
I purchased a Rift S for one son and Quest for the other.  Can I purchase games that can be used on both of these devices?

If you use the same Oculus account on both devices, some games will give you both versions when you buy them (this is called cross-buy). Games that support cross-buy will list both Rift and Quest as supported platforms on the store page.

There are some down-sides to using the same account for both devices, however. They will be treated as the same user on the Oculus platform--same name, same avatar, same friends list. Some games may not allow the same account to be logged in on two devices at the same time, preventing them from playing together.

Also, the new requirement of having a Facebook account linked to an Oculus account may create additional problems with trying to share an account. Oculus clearly does not intend for accounts to be shared among multiple users, and the platform does not currently support any sort of family sharing of content.
