Can some recommend a non ASMedia chipset based USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Add-in card?

Hi All,

Hoping someone might be able to help here. I have a AORUS Gaming 7 MB that has a Type-C port which uses the ASMedia chipset. Unfortunately, when I try to use it with Oculus Link it thinks it is USB 2.0 so it's not usable and Oculus support confirmed that it's not compatible. I have the Oculus cable on order and while I could use an adapter with one of my USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports I'd rather not as that creates another potential point of failure. Unfortunately, Oculus support has no card recommendations at this time. I hope they either correct the incompatibility, (if that's possible) or provide us with a list of compatible cards much like they did with the Anker cable.

In the meantime can anyone recommend an add-in USB 3.1 Gen 2 card with Type-C ports that they are using or that they know works with Oculus Link?

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
