I've plugged my Oculus Quest into my Mac computer, but I'm confused about what I am supposed to do. Can someone help me?

Oculus Link is the technology that allows you to use your Quest with the Oculus App. The Oculus app is a PC only app. The only way that you could use your Mac with the Quest would be to use Boot Camp to run Windows. Unfortunately, unless you have a Mac Pro with a good video card or an iMac Pro, you will not be able run any apps in a playable state. I was able to get it to work on my iMac, but I got like 3 frames per second, if that. It was completely choppy. So, it is theoretically possible, it's just still the case that Apple is not making VR capable machines other than the two examples I mentioned.

@Nunyabinez What iMac and what graphic card do you have? Is it possible you have 3fps because you have bad cable? Did you try more cables? I am thinking about installing Windows on my iMac 2017 (Radeon Pro 570 4GB) but I want to know if it would be working (I need to buy cable too).

The cable is fine, I'm using it on my PC and it works great. I have the 2014 retina iMac with the AMD Radeon M295X 4GB video. So I don't expect it to be usable. But, since you already have the machine it won't hurt to try. The desktop version of the 570 is above the minimum spec so, it might work. But again, you have to install Boot Camp and Windows and install the Oculus client.

I know the GTX1050Ti is not supposed to be supported, but works, so its worth a shot.  I think 'O' are just playing it safe.
