Oculus Rift tracking issues

Titan970Titan970 Posts: 2
So today I got on my Rift CV1 to play on SteamVR just like normal, and I noticed that the tracking quality is horrible (jitters and drifting), and the Oculus software is throwing up errors about "poor tracking quality". I have done absolutely nothing regarding sensor placement, USB connections, or any other technical stuff. I just got on, like usual, and its giving errors. I have tried rearranging USB connections, reverting them back to their original positions, and checking if the USB ports are "sticky". It seems to give the errors at random, I can get all 3 of my sensors to indicate they are ready to go, but as soon as I put on the headset, things start breaking down. Sometimes the errors are yellow, sometimes red.

Note: I do not have a USB card of any kind, everything connected to the mainboard.

Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 3900x, GTX 1080 ti, 16GB RAM.

Sensors: 2 sensors on USB 3.0, 1 on USB 2.0. HMD on USB 3.0.

Thanks in advance!

Probably could be related to the other USB 3 Connection issues that people are reporting here and raising tickets for. Tickets that are not taken seriously.

Try a powered USB 3.0 hub.
