I'm developing a multiplayer experience. Currently I have connected 8 Oculus Quest through a PC server.
I'm thinking if you believe that it's possible that PC tracks Vive trackers for each Oculus Quest user, and then mix it with their avatar to have full motion body rig. I don't now if each Quest is sending the input data to the server, and then work local with the response... then I thought the latency will be low if the computer tracks each external tracker.
I don't now. What do you think? It's impossible?
I'm using UE4 but I think that is the same for Unity.
