Are you plugging in a Quest via Link Cable or a Rift S (or another headset)? That can make a difference. Not all cards are supported for Oculus Link, even if they are supported by a Rift S.
Lo, a quest! I seek the threads of my future in the seeds of the past.

GTX 1050 is below minimum spec for both the Rift S and the Quest Link

Minimum spec for Rift S is GTX 1050Ti (desktop version). A GTX 1050M (laptop version) is slower than a 1050 Desk top version.

Minimum spec for "Link" is currently GTX1060 6Gb desk top.

"VR Ready" is a generic term. Oculus have their own, "Oculus Ready". Since you haven't posted your specs, there may be other things that your laptop is missing or under spec.

I just got the download for oculus link and got a PC. My quest keeps saying that I don't meet the minimum requirements. I don't see how that's possible ? graphics card is a 1660ti . Ram is 8gb . My processor is  an AMD ryzen 4000 series. I have not downloaded the quest update , not sure if that matters ? Has anyone had this problem?
